It is a great honour and I am real excited to be part of One World Scrap’s design team. I started to call my hobby scrapbooking after visiting a real scrapbook store somewhere in 2003. Long before that moment I used techniques as cutting, matting and journaling without even knowing there was a whole world behind it.
I started being a more and more intense user of all these beautiful scrapbook supplies when moving from The Netherlands to Spain in August 2005. Being an expat partner I left my home, family, friends and job to live with my dear friend and daughter in the sunny Spain. This gave me the opportunity to dedicate a lot more time to my favourite hobby.
Capturing life time moments, not only in photos but also in words, totally makes sense to me. I love reliving the moment over and over again. First by making the lay out and later by looking at it. How I would define my style? Actually I would not dare to choose one. Sometimes I like to go freestyle, sometimes clean and simple is more my thing. It depends on the moment, the photo, the memory. Which counts to me is that me and my family are able to keep the memories alive.
